Le Praz is the only Courchevel village where you ski through forest right down to the chalets. Here is how to plan your days across the 3 Valleys without ever touching the car.
The village's two gateways
- —Forêt gondola: Courchevel 1850 in 4 to 6 minutes, the fastest link.
- —Croisette cable car: direct access to the Croisette sector and the Olympic jumps.
An easy family day
Ride the Forêt gondola, cruise the blue pistes of the Verdons sector, have lunch on a terrace in Courchevel 1850, then take the blue Forêt run home. Around 15 to 20 km of skiing, with easy bail-out points.
A big 3 Valleys day
Head for La Saulire at opening, drop into Méribel, then Val Thorens via Les Menuires. Return over La Saulire in the early afternoon and finish on the Jean Blanc Olympic downhill, 3.3 km of continuous vertical to Le Praz. Expect 40 to 60 km.
