Alpine luxury, reimagined in every silence.
Completed in 2022, Chalet Les Cochettes was built in keeping with pure Savoyard tradition, entirely in natural stone and solid larch, a world away from the many Courchevel chalets thrown up in concrete blocks and merely clad in wood. Exposed timber frame, mineral façades, lauze stone roof: every square metre was crafted by renowned local artisans, faithful to a craftsmanship handed down through generations.
Outside, raw stone and solid larch form a warm yet mineral skin. Inside, aged timber unfolds across the walls, floors and beams, shaping volumes designed for an alpine way of life, both convivial and intimate: a 90 m² living space bathed in a rare four-sided exposure, a cathedral-like timber frame that opens the lounge to the sky, and bedrooms turned toward the mountains. Chalet Les Cochettes was conceived to bring families and friends together in calm, away from the bustle of Courchevel 1850.
On the rear terrace, an authentic 1973 Samoëns cable-car cabin, restored and repainted in the colours of Courchevel by a Savoyard workshop, sets the scene for breakfasts facing the forest, a picturesque nod to the heritage of the Alpine resorts. The garden behind the chalet, where the cabin sits, is regularly visited by roe deer that come to graze at dawn and dusk, adding a touch of magic to the experience.
Picture your days on the slopes of the Three Valleys, then coming home to this cocoon of aged wood. A dip in the indoor pool, a family movie night, dinner by the fire beneath the exposed beams: every stay becomes an unforgettable memory.

Yes, perfectly. The 6-berth bunk room is great for kids, and families love the calm of Le Praz and the safe indoor pool. The pool is fitted with a safety cover and access is protected by a coded door - we walk parents through enabling the code when young children are staying. A high chair is also provided for the youngest guests. We connect you with experienced babysitters, and the enclosed back garden is regularly visited by roe deer - a constant source of wonder for children.
