The chalet is rented whole and exclusively: all 300 sqm over three floors are yours, with no shared areas. Everything that makes a mountain Christmas comfortable is part of the rental.

Dates and flexible arrivals for the 2026 festive season
French school holidays run from Saturday 19 December 2026 to Monday 4 January 2027. The Christmas week shown above runs Saturday 19 to Saturday 26 December, but unlike most Courchevel chalets, Les Cochettes does not impose Saturday changeovers: arrivals are possible on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, with a 6-night minimum.
For Christmas 2026 two options are offered: Friday 18 to Friday 25 December, or Saturday 19 to Saturday 26 December, 7 nights either way. Arriving on Friday avoids the Saturday saturation on the road from Moûtiers and gives an extra ski day before the crowds. New Year week, 26 December to 3 January, is already booked.

Christmas dinner at the chalet
The 12-seat table under the beams, facing the fireplace, is made for the evening of 24 December. The chalet is self-catered: cook yourself on the Lacanche range, or book a private chef for Christmas dinner and the week's meals. Courchevel chefs are in high demand on those dates, so mention it in your quote request and we will introduce you to the providers who know the chalet.
While the adults linger at the table, the children have the cinema room, the games room and, the next morning, the indoor pool. An experienced babysitter can be booked for Christmas Eve.

Skiing the 3 Valleys over the Christmas holidays
The Le Praz gondola is 4 minutes by car or 5 minutes on the free shuttle, which stops 50 m from the chalet. It reaches Courchevel 1850 in 6 minutes and opens up the whole of the 3 Valleys, the world's largest ski area. Over Christmas the trick is to start early, ski the La Tania and Col de la Loze sectors in the morning, then come home for lunch or a swim.
Le Praz, the Savoyard village of Courchevel 1300, stays peaceful over the holidays: lake, church, village restaurants and a small Christmas market, far from the bustle of 1850.
